Impolite people - they push, they jump queue, they dont say "sorry" nor "thank you". They smoke and spit. Awful toilets and some are more aweful than the others; oily & salty food. Unpredictable standard of services & provisions. Dirty basins & toilet bowls found in the so-called best hotel in Jilin.

I remain vegetarian whenever I am in Mainland as I am so suspicious about the meats there. Why not? I saw restaurants selling dog meat, donkey meat and silk cocoons. Horse meat. Enough. Sausages that look pretty dull. Cakes with funny colourings.

We have been lucky. We were able to see Tian Chi. Harbin was like a fireplace before we backtracked, it downpoured in midnight when we stayed in Volga Manor. A natural cooler.

The whole group of senior citizens except a few young men who came with parents.

Despite all said, I enjoyed the 8 days & 7 nights.

Movie. The 4 women's lives are really enviable. Their friendship is so lasting and accommodating. Some women friends may be sympathetic when you are ill but they just feel sour when you get promotion or when you look pretty. The worst type is those who feel so excited when you are ill & keep spreading words and curse you for whatever is good to you, say wearing a diamond ring and a trendy suit or having some traces of romance. Of course, these are not friends but a bunch of bitches with corrupted souls. They live in hell before they die. Jealousy and bad-mouthedness are punshiment enough. Only those who are loved will love. Hence, they must be deprived of love and care that makes them shamelessly bitter.

Take my laughters, take my tears; take my happiness, take my pains. No separation possible. Ignore the unworthy ones.
