Writing isn't just for would-be novelists. There are many different reasons to write. Rather than concentrating on how bad things are, focus on the fact that they could be much worse. Psychiatrists call this downward comparison.
Make it a habit to find at least one thing to be grateful for - nothing is too small to write down.
Today: I know I am still working reasonably well and a cheque will be on the way to my bank account at the end of the month. I can blog and have a chance to curse everyone, to rant and rave, to let go of anger and frustration on the pages. Of course, I can also send along love messages.
