alternatives to complaining

To whine about our woes merely focuses our attention on them and, it seems, actually increases our pain because we become so conscious of it. We have so many better choices for greater wholeness.

There are exercises and other natural pain relievers, like meeting friends, smelling the flowers along the way in a park and noticing the progression of the seasons. Warm baths, movies, books, chicken soup, massages and sleeping.
