Very very cold weather.

Lorraine likes the "warmer eggs" to warm up our hands before sleep. No heat indoors. It makes us feel colder than when we were in Beijing last December.

We bought a Zojirushi rice cooker for Porpor. Maria is pleased.

All down jackets/coats were sold out in Uniqlo and Panasonic rice cookers are out of stock. Many rice cookers and electric kettles were bought for lucky draw for X'mas and New Year parties.

We woke up at 5 am and set off at 6 am.

The Little Girl is growing up and will finish her final year in the study.

Glad that the 2 sisters appreciate Mom's home is a home for them.

The cup of tea will turn cold

upon one's departure.

That is so natural. Why bother to drink the cold tea if you do not want to? Get another cup of hot tea if you insist. Why not try a bottle of coke or a glass of fresh orange juice? No complain No blame No explain.

I like the spinach & cream cheese wrap from the Starbucks. A treat from Estella. It cheered me up amidst the loads of work.

World Trade Centre. Next table was a group of show-off rich people. One of the women kept blah blah blah about her everything - computer knowledge, crystal cruise, social network with the big developers and famous merchants, travelling experiences, up-bringing in a wealthy family ................

Min has an excellent sense of humour with these kind of people. She just found their loud conversations so amusing. One young man who was called Jackson obviously felt embarassments about the behaviours of his mother and the ever preaching auntie. Also, he was kept on called Jason by the blah blah blah woman despite the repeated corrections by his parents. He glanced at me and Min from time to time and kept his mouth shut except drinking red wine.

Min said at least their world is full of pleasure and they are well fed and well clad.

Min likes the facilities of the Central Library very much.

Heart attack. Ache in the chest yesterday afternoon working in the field. Admitted into hospital. Died early this morning. She is completely shocked & saddened. His adopted son has become an orphan twice within 9 years.

And my pains are not yours.

So each of us just bears our own cross. Of course, we can give each other a hug or a smile from time to time for some support or encouragement. That would make life a bit easier.

Keep my fingers crossed. We have to face all the challenges, every day & every minute.

Life has to carry on ............. I have to prepare myself for another phase. I start to feel sentimental about everyone and everything there.
