Lunched in Wanchai - usual group. Edmund joined this time. He had shaved & looked cleaner today. For some time, he was untidy with beards. He said he had a dinner with 20+ retirers last Sunday. Some will go back to US or Canada, like Tsang & Yan.

Suen bought me a pot of orchids & placed it in my office. It is for my birthday next month. he has done that for many years. I can't remember. May be 10 years already. I am touched that he keeps his promise to send me flowers every year. He is the only man who does that. I only sent my kind regards to him when he was sick. Yet, he feels so indebted.

aromatic essence

I have bought some aromatic essence to be placed in the office. Some are easy to open, some are not. The lesson learnt is that for those uneasy ones, displacement has caused its leakage & spoilt the wooden cabinet outlook. Some even caused fire when people burnt the essence while asleep. Must be cautious. Don't know whether the smell be harmful. Everyday, there are reports about food containing ingredients causing cancer. Today, the black sea-weed. Either fake or problematic process.

Noodles for lunch yesterday.

Had dinner in Central last evening. First time to be there.

Cordyceps before bed-time. Seems to be kicking away the cold.

busy busy

It is good to be busy. Occupied & working in a group of right-key team-mates.

Ag will be sitting in my office - secretary's place. Hope that she will be contributing with ease.

Porpor brought to me cordicep drinks. She is brave & sensible. She is the centre of our family. Without her, we will be in want of care and forebearance.

Min will be 17 this mid night. She intended to stay awake until then. However, she is fast asleep now.

Lor called about Pa.

Pray for Kev for a suitable job.

Marga had tea with Pa, Mom & I yesterday at APM. Good to have gathering at New Year.
