Silent Night Holy Night

Peaceful & restful. I started reading e-book on Steve Jobs - his biography. A very new experience.

I stay at home for the whole day except that I went to Jusco Supermarket and the alteration shop for cutting the sleeves of my black coat in the morning and Mannings for some cold tablets in the afternoon.

The CX plane had to land in Moscow instead of coming back to HK. None has been injured. That is good luck already.

I was so lucky that I could greet her in the airport.

i could not kiss kiss baby

She said she would buy me a scarf with Mickey Mouse when she grows up. In the meantime, she has no money. But she might try to pay with Octopus. Reasonable. She does not know how to sign yet. So not even credit cards can function.

I will live a long life just for the sake of receiving presents from her.

Bad cold, leave me alone!

Cry if you want as shedding tears can help us to vent our griefs or anxieties.

What you feel is just so natural. Simply keep on working hard and treasure all those who love you.

I am here to support you whatever! Smiles after tears!

to keep a promise

When she wants a candy or an ice-cream, she will say she will brush her teeth afterwards.

However, there have been occasions that she runs away and refuses to brush her teeth at night time.

Yesterday I talked to her seriously about such and asked her to keep her promise. (Michelle Yeeyee said she would not be trusted if she fails to do so.) She said she would and then I gave her a tiny chocolate bean with strawberry filling. I reminded her to keep her promise. Then she asked me innocently what was "to keep a promise" after the chocolate bean melted in her mouth.

Tai Ping Koon Restaurant

A bun with butter & cream soup.

Stir-fried noodles with sliced beef in Swiss sauce - sweet soy sauce.

Baked garoupa with mushroom and rice.

Iced lemon water & coffee.

I enjoyed so much my time with Anise. An evening with warmth & laughters.

Thai Basil

when illness dominates

Patient is an interesting word. We all know what it means, but most of us get so driven to move forward that little do we care what it means.

It takes a patient to learn what it means to be patient. Because all of a sudden, everything in your life is put on hold and little by little it slows down and down, until it grinds to a halt. Instead of moving forward at your own pace as you will, you are no longer in control of your life, and you just wait patiently for what the doctor tells you what is going to happen to your body and to your life. You can whine all you want, but you know the moment has come that you will do what you are told, and you wait patiently and earnestly to receive your visits from your doctor, your family and your friends.

You also find all the time you want to reflect on how and whether you would and could have lived your life any differently if you were presented a second chance, the time that you never knew you had or would have. And you keep patiently waiting for things, or sometimes, a miracle, to happen.
